{"title":"Cameos","description":"\u003cp\u003eCameos have captivated since ancient Greece. They were adopted by Romans, coveted during the Renaissance, beloved by the Victorians, and their allure never fully fades. Carved by hand from shell, hardstone, lava, and coral, each one is a tiny world: a portrait, a mythology, a moment frozen in relief. Artisans in Italy still cut them today, carrying on a tradition thousands of years old.
